Medical Professional Wanted for Night Shift Position

Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) registered nurse to join our team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. This part-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Ensure timely admissions, transfers, and discharges, maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support to colleagues as a resource nurse, mentor, and delegator.
- Accurately document patient information and progress in medical records.
- Stay current with ongoing education requirements and competencies, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth.
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited nursing program, holding an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- A valid North Carolina nursing license and Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association are required.
- At least one year of acute nursing experience is necessary for this role.

This role requires a strong commitment to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care. All Novant Health team members are responsible for creating a safe patient environment, guided by the principles of 'First Do No Harm'. If your RN nursing license has been inactive or lapsed for five years or more, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course may be necessary prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
