About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Knitwear Designer to join our team at REVOLVE. As a Senior Knitwear Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of knitwear products for our contemporary brands, including Helsa, GRLFRND, LPA, Song of Style, L'Academie, and House of Harlow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute knitwear designs that meet the brand's aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with directors and outside influencers to ensure design direction aligns with brand vision.
  • Lead meetings and work one-on-one with directors and outside influencers to discuss design concepts and direction.
  • Send out seasonal stitch development based on direction/brand concept.
  • Sketch and tech-pack knitwear designs.
  • Lead fittings and update tech pack construction and BOMs.
  • Comment on first prototypes and work cross-functionally with product development on costing options.
  • Communicate with vendors on yarn development/R&D and meet with yarn mills and stitch vendors.
  • Shop the market for inspiration and stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in fully fashioned knitwear.
  • Strong technical knitwear background, including understanding of yarns, stitches, and fully fashioned construction.
  • Ability to map/plan out yarn groups/concepts for the season in line with direction given.
  • Strong understanding of stitches/yarns in relationship to costing.
  • Strong sketching ability and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines and work well in a dynamic environment.
