Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a school environment. The SLP will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic services to students experiencing speech, language, and communication challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency issues in students.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment strategies that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group formats.
  • Collaborate with educators, guardians, and other school personnel to enhance students' communication and academic objectives.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, aiding in the formulation and assessment of student goals.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain precise and current records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active SLP license or certification in California.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Experience in an educational setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
