Soliant is seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a school environment. The SLP will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with various speech and language challenges.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations to determine the presence of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Create and execute personalized treatment strategies that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Deliver direct therapeutic interventions to students, both individually and in group formats.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and school personnel to enhance students' communication and academic objectives.
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, assisting in the formulation and assessment of student goals.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current SLP license or certification in the state of California.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
