Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our team at United Health Services in Newark Valley, NY. This is a benefits-eligible position with a salary range of $20.50 - $29.62 per hour, depending on experience.

About the Position

This role involves providing skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized healthcare provider. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing practices and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing skilled nursing care to patients
  • Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing
  • Current New York State Practical Nurse License, a Limited Permit, or ability to practice within the 90-day grace period allowed by New York State guidelines
