This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Services Associate, working closely with top clinical, technical, and business professionals across all disciplines.

As a Clinical Services Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a patient-centered focus, supporting the delivery of high-quality care, and assisting in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Promptly room patients, using EMR to alert providers that patients are ready, and review past medical, surgical, family, smoking history, allergies, medications.
  • Observe patient condition and communicate any abnormal data or changes to providers.
  • Assist patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, undressing, preparing for the exam, and remain in exam rooms when necessary/requested.
  • Obtain specimens for testing, perform laboratory and screening tests, record results in EMR, and reconcile with logs where appropriate.
  • Perform EKGs and other outpatient screening tests as per MD order and after properly preparing patients.
  • Assist with minor surgical procedures by handing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, positioning patients, and other duties within scope of responsibility.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency/code situations.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification per the American Heart Association.
  • CMA or RMA certification.
  • MA certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Associate of Arts or Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of medical office experience or 2+ years of customer service experience.
