Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative to support our Family Medicine office in Saugus, MA.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and obtain prior authorizations from insurances as needed
  • Check-in patients, answer their questions, and assist with pre-visit paperwork
  • Complete forms, collect co-payments, and schedule follow-up appointments during check-out
  • Field incoming telephone calls and triage appropriately
  • Monitor patient flow and waiting room activity
  • Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience working in a community-based medical practice preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
