Job Description

Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician to join our team at Transformco. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and Repair Home Appliances - Drive to multiple customer homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances with high levels of quality and efficiency.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Experience - Provide customers with value-added solutions that help make their home more clean, comfortable, and protected.
  • Manage Company Truck and Parts - Keep company truck well-maintained and organized, and help manage parts efficiently.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned - Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree - Required.
  • EPA Type I or EPA Universal Certification - Required.
  • Mechanical Knowledge and Aptitude - Including use of testing and repair tools.
  • Experience Repairing and Diagnosing Home Appliances - Preferred.
  • Ability to Follow Directions and Processes - For quality workmanship.
  • Ability to Use Smartphone - Including use for part ordering.
  • Background and Drug Screen - Successfully pass a background and drug screen.
  • Valid Driver's License - For the state(s) in which you work.
  • Ability to Travel - Up to 100%.
  • Ability to Work Variable and Flexible Hours - Including required overtime.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - Both verbal and written.
  • Ability to Lift, Carry, Push, or Pull - Up to 20 lbs, frequently lift, carry, push, or pull 50 lbs, occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 100 lbs.
