Appliance Repair Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at Mr. Appliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install Home Appliances/Equipment: Install home appliances and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Accurately Diagnose and Repair Appliances/Equipment: Accurately diagnose and repair appliances and equipment in the customer's home.
  • Provide Cost Estimates and Collect Payment: Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
  • Ensure Efficient Use of Materials: Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced.
  • Complete Invoices and Reports: Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.
  • Perform Other Duties as Needed: Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross-training in related positions.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Record: Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Must be at Least 18 Years of Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficiency in Tablet-Based Technology: Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology.
  • Physical Ability: The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
  • Flexible and Variable Hours: Flexible and variable hours (no weekends).

Compensation: $1,300.00 per week.
