About Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany

Catholic Charities is a dedicated organization focused on providing support to individuals facing various challenges, irrespective of their backgrounds. We are currently looking for a compassionate and committed Residence Counselor to contribute to our mission at the Fulton & Montgomery Agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individual Action Plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Instruct residents in essential independent living skills.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Provide necessary crisis intervention and support.
  • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the residence.
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions.
Compensation and Work Schedule:

Hourly Rate: $17.00

Work Schedule:

  • Available shifts include nights, weekends, and overnights.
  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
  • Multiple locations available.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Possession of a valid NYS driver's license.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
