Customer Service Specialist

Giant Food, a leading grocery store chain in the Baltimore-Washington area, is seeking a skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team.

Your Role: As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service experiences in our stores. This includes resolving customer complaints, answering questions about products, and promoting our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting customers with product selection, answering questions about ingredients, nutritional information, and preparation methods
- Participating in inventory management, receiving stock, and maintaining store appearance
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and enhance the shopping experience

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with ability to handle difficult customer situations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced retail environment
