Job Summary

The Principal Data Security Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits' data assets. This position will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, identifying trends and patterns, and developing strategies to mitigate risks and improve data security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and implement data security strategies to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data security best practices are followed
  • Provide training and education to employees on data security best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data security threats and technologies
  • Develop and maintain data security policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
  • Develop and implement incident response plans
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data security is integrated into all systems and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data security or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong understanding of data security best practices and regulations
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging data security threats and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • CISSP or CISM certification
  • Experience with data security frameworks and regulations
  • Experience with data security tools and technologies
Physical Demands

This position requires a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device. Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping. May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
