M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist 1 to join our Automation Systems Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining equipment used to monitor and control systems, machinery, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer solutions for small projects and support large programs
  • Assist senior engineers in preparation of designs, including requirements analysis, subsystem designs, and comment resolution
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, RTUs, and/or HMI systems
  • Test and commission deployed systems
  • Develop test procedures and perform factory and field testing
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field
  • 0+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of industrial controls, cybersecurity, building automation, and power controls
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
