Position Overview
The Automotive Inspection Specialist is tasked with evaluating vehicles for damages that can be rectified through Dent Wizard's reconditioning techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicle condition for inventory purposes
- Transport vehicles to and from designated locations
- Conduct thorough inspections for both interior and exterior damages
- Prepare and submit all reconditioning documentation to the Lot Manager
- Examine tires, oil levels, and fuel levels
- Remove personal belongings from vehicles
- Ensure all vehicle accessories are accounted for
- Drive locally or to distant locations as required, adhering to all traffic regulations
- Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Carry out various other duties as determined by the Lot Manager
Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive reconditioning inspections is advantageous
- Physical capability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand during vehicle inspections
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good vision is essential
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- No drug or alcohol-related offenses on driving record in the past three years
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
Compensation:
The compensation for this role will be based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location, primarily structured around a highly incentivized commission model.
Starting compensation is anticipated to be:
$15.00/hr. - $17.00/hr.
We provide a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and a 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contributions).
