We are seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for our dynamic outpatient Imaging Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for working independently in a fast-paced environment, possessing a thorough understanding of all aspects of MR imaging, radiation safety, and related patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and providing instructions on procedures
  • Obtaining pertinent medical history for exams
  • Positioning and immobilizing patients on examining tables using supportive devices to obtain precise patient positions
  • Keying commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into computers
  • Maintaining exam rooms and ensuring adequate supplies

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations, including the elderly
  • Extensive knowledge of MR imaging procedures and protocols
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • ARRT registration as a technologist
  • MRI advanced certification
  • CPR certification
  • Florida State licensure
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
