Job Summary:

Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a dynamic outpatient imaging center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • MRI certification and experience with MRI equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
