Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Maplewood at Darien LLC is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and provide direct care to residents
  • Teach and counsel residents on health and wellness
  • Participate in assessments and develop care plans under the supervision of the Resident Services Director
  • Support residents and their families
  • Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Training and auditing of care
  • Completing monthly in-service training as required

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state
  • Two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience working with older adults
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships
  • In good physical and emotional health

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

  • Technical or better training in Nursing
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
