Nurse Team Lead Opportunity

As a Nurse Team Lead at Fresenius Medical Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. This leadership position requires strong clinical expertise and excellent communication skills to guide your team towards providing top-notch dialysis services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 months of nursing experience, including 3 months of specialized experience in dialysis care. Supervisory or management experience is preferred, but not necessary. You must be registered and licensed to practice nursing in your state and certified in CPR or have successfully completed a course in CPR certification.
Educational Requirements:
A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.) with a valid license to practice in the applicable State. Experience in medical/surgical nursing is also highly valued.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, offering informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation.
• Participate in departmental staffing, as well as hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Recommend disciplinary action to the Facility Administrator and initiate it appropriately if needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company-approved procedures and policies as well as regulations set forth by state and federal agencies.
• Approve or disapprove time or personnel schedule changes in the absence of the Facility Administrator, maintaining adherence to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for documenting work hours for staff members on assigned shifts.
• Maintain knowledge of current practices related to principles and techniques of dialysis by participating in all scheduled inservices.
• Train and orient staff as necessary.
• Routinely observe and guide direct patient care staff for appropriate technique and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
• Promote and assist with compliance to OSHA programs to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintain overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• With the Facility Administrator, conduct staff meetings at least monthly or as needed to keep patient care staff informed of changes in patient care needs or operations to improve care delivery.
• Meet regularly with the Facility Administrator to discuss personnel and patient care status, issues, and information.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $$83,500 - $105,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, Fresenius Medical Care offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
