Job Overview

Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $24.51/hr. to $36.86/hr., based on skills and experience, with additional shift differentials ($0.35 for 2nd shift; $0.25 for 3rd shift).

Incentives:

  • $500 bonus after 30 days of employment
  • $500 bonus after 6 months
  • $500 bonus after 1 year
  • Additional bonus at 2 years based on hours worked in the previous year

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Hourly, 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment utilizing advanced technology in the corrugated industry.
  • Employ mechanical skills (including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical expertise (such as PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) to maintain high machine uptime.
  • Collaborate effectively with maintenance and operations teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance activities in designated areas.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of one year of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven track record in safety, attendance, and quality of work.
  • Experience in corrugated manufacturing is advantageous. Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, and electrical technologies is preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to cross-train in various technical areas to broaden skill set.
  • Availability to work second and third shifts, including call-ins, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to utilize computer systems for maintenance processes, inventory, and work orders.
  • Must provide own tools initially (tools that wear out on the job will be replaced).
