We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Electrical Specialist to join our team at Resiliency LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our marine electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and perform installations of electrical equipment and systems on board our vessels.
- Electrical System Design: Design and implement electrical system components to meet the needs of our operations.
- Electrical System Testing: Conduct regular testing and inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration on electrical system projects.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
- Skills and Certifications: Valid driver's license, Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC), and Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints, as well as experience with electrical system design and testing.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and boxes (less than 20 lbs.). Ability to work on high ladders, aloft, or over the side of vessels. Ability to work in extreme temperatures (heat or cold) and humidity.
- Competitive Salary: $37.76 per hour ($78,542 annualized)
