Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare, clean, and maintain the Endoscopy room and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Setup and Cleaning: Set up and clean the Endoscopy room, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
- Patient Care: Assist nurses with transferring and positioning patients for care, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Endoscope Cleaning: Clean and maintain all endoscopes and accessories according to SGNA Standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Handle and safely store all endoscopy equipment, performing regular safety checks and maintaining a log book.
- Assistance to Physicians: Assist physicians in obtaining specimens, performing therapeutic procedures, and maintaining patient records.
Requirements:
Endoscopy Technician certificate within a year of employment.
