**Job Summary**

The Public Area Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring the overall atmosphere of the Great Wolf Lodge meets or exceeds guest standards. As a key member of the housekeeping team, this individual is responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas of the resort.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Clean and maintain public areas, including floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark area, elevators, windows, and doors
  • Ensure elevator areas are free of debris
  • Empty waste receptacles in common areas
  • Read and comprehend material safety data sheets for all chemicals and use them according to directions
  • Report maintenance issues in public areas
  • Operate trash compactor and cardboard baler
  • Communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Deliver items to guestrooms as requested and return them to storage as necessary
  • Assist with guestroom cleaning as needed

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
