Senior Documentation Manager, Amazon Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Documentation Manager to join our Amazon Software Development Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that supports the success of our software development community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for software development tools and end-to-end development workflows.
- Lead the direction of documentation authoring tools used by writers and software development teams.
- Collect and incorporate feedback from customers to improve documentation.
- Influence product direction of tools to provide an ideal development experience.

What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $124,600 - $215,400 per year, based on location.

- 5+ years' experience in a technical writing role.
- 5+ years' experience writing for a developer or IT operations audience.
- 5+ years' experience writing code or automation scripts as part of published documentation.
- Strong ability to work across teams and groups to accomplish objectives.
- Experience with web services.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java, Ruby, or C#.
- Experience with an automation scripting framework such as bash shell scripting, Windows batch scripting, or Windows PowerShell.
- Experience with command-line tools.
