Senior Documentation Manager, Amazon Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Documentation Manager to join our Amazon Software Development Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that supports the success of our software development teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for software development teams, including technical guides, API references, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify documentation needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Lead the development of documentation tools and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to software development teams on documentation best practices and tools.
- Monitor and analyze documentation metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing content strategies that support software development teams.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with web services and object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with automation scripting frameworks and command-line tools.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and software development best practices.
