Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating physical therapy needs and implementing comprehensive, medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to assigned patients in a supervised program of rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Implement medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to assigned patients in a supervised program of rehabilitation.
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of physical therapy needs for assigned patient populations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans and protocols according to current professional and health system standards.
- Establish achievable and appropriate treatment goals with patients and families.
- Assess educational needs of patients and families, and implement a variety of methods for patient/family education and training during the rehabilitation process.
- Complete all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement.
- Participate in clinical education of fieldwork students and other professional educational endeavors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- New York State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- BLS certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) OR Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) is required upon entry to the position.
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
