Position Summary:

Xanitos is seeking dedicated Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for full-time positions on the second shift. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in various healthcare settings.

Shift Details:

Hours: 4 PM - 12:30 AM
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.91 plus $0.90 shift differential
Includes every third weekend and every other holiday
Pay increase after 90 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness of lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Thoroughly clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  • Perform sweeping and vacuuming of floors.
  • Dust furniture and equipment.
  • Polish metalwork.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
Qualifications:
  • Flu shot required.
  • Experience in the janitorial field is advantageous.
  • Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug testing required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, using hands for handling and reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and may work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet.
