As a Physician Leader with Physician Empire, you will oversee the Medical and Administrative Health Professionals (AHP) staff, working closely with the Administrative Director and Department Chair to drive performance assessments and reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Medical and AHP staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Drive Medical and AHP staff performance assessments and reviews, leveraging analytics and dashboards to inform decision-making.
- Assist with oversight of staffing levels, performance, and accountability, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state laws and regulations, meeting the requirements and responsibilities of the Medical Director under NYCRR Title 14 part 580, and NYS Mental Hygiene Law.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and implement the performance improvement program, driving continuous quality improvement.
- Function as a consultant to other Psychiatrists and admitting patients, providing expert guidance and support.
- Ensure coverage of the Behavioral Services Unit (BSU) at all times by a qualified Psychiatrist member of the Medical Staff.
