About the Role

AlixPartners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to lead our eDiscovery & Data Forensics project management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire eDiscovery life cycle, from preservation and collection to processing, review, and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Protocols: Develop and implement internal standards and best practices for preservation and collection of electronic evidence.
  • Data Collection and Management: Find, compile, organize, categorize, and verify case-critical data quickly across the full life cycle of the eDiscovery process.
  • Software Mastery: Master a range of industry-standard software tools to perform custom solutions to client requirements.
  • Client Communication: Identify and address client needs, actively participate in client discussions and meetings, and advise clients on data collection for large-scale litigation cases.
  • Data Set Creation and Management: Create and manage large data sets, ensuring clients' electronic files are easily accessible for potential litigation.
  • Problem-Solving: Use a problem-solving approach to overcome unexpected technical and operational challenges.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control review over work product and train other professional staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; area of study in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related preferred.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of professional or consulting experience in eDiscovery preferred.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to balance multiple tasks, self-prioritize tasks, prepare detailed documentation, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery-level experience with Relativity, Brainspace, and MDM, and preferred working experience with EnCase, Cellebrite, BlackBag, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, Microsoft.NET framework, Microsoft Access, SQL, Microsoft Exchange, and Lotus Notes/Domino.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to engage technically while bringing commercial acumen and client-facing confidence, and a professional demeanor with strong presentation skills.
