We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team at Salo Inc. as a Regional Revenue Cycle Manager for our Hospice Services division in Columbus, OH.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily workflow of the hospice and palliative revenue cycle department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff members to ensure a high-performing team.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations, handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain acceptable levels of department's financial performance in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Bad Debt expense, and Contractual expense as established and measured by management.
- Perform ongoing process improvement analysis and implementation of system improvements, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and contract requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and address challenges and/or breakdowns in the revenue cycle process, perform proactive audits on all recommended A/R write-offs, and present audit results to Executive Management.
- Work closely with the Accounting Department to contribute to cash reconciliation activities and to assist in the assessment of accounts receivable collectability and validation, including the writing off of bad debts.
- Assist with review of contracted rates verses reimbursements, create and develop reports to address management needs, and analyze information to identify trends or issues.
- Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred) in a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in billing and accounts receivable, with a minimum 3-5 years' supervisory experience, preferably in hospice and/or home health care setting.
- Recent experience working with popular hospice/palliative billing software.
