About Dental Care at Village Walk

We are a dynamic dental care practice seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist at Dental Care at Village Walk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality patient care and support our dental team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Conduct thorough medical and dental histories, and perform necessary screenings and assessments.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • New Grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
