Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control plant operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plant processes and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with senior operators and supervisors to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and maintain plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and training to ensure preparedness for unexpected events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment operations.
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Class D Water or Wastewater Operator's Certificate of Competency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to chemicals, noise, and other hazards. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment plants.
