Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Mechatronics and Automation Specialist to join our team at Amazon Stores in Bristol, IN. As a key member of our Operations Maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.

Your Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more">
  • Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities">
  • Track and store department inventory">
  • Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications">
  • Able to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays">
  • 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures">
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment">
  • Blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledge">
  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards">
  • Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field">
  • 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field">
  • 2+ years of experience working with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based controls systems">
  • 2+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles">
  • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance">
