We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Emergency Medical Technician. This role is essential in providing basic life support and ensuring the safe transport of patients. The position is located in the Dallas area and offers a competitive hourly wage.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver timely and effective basic life support care in accordance with established protocols prior to patient transport.
- Ensure safe and careful movement of patients to and from the ambulance.
- Facilitate secure and efficient patient transport to medical facilities.
- Report and document any necessary repairs for maintenance of equipment to supervisors and other team members.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- A valid Driver's License is essential; candidates must be capable of operating larger vehicles under various conditions.
- Completion of a 10-day training program will lead to Emergency Care Attendant certification.
- Strong attention to detail along with effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- All training, certification courses, and examination costs will be covered by the organization.
