Rehabilitation Specialist
Work Schedule:
Full Time, Days (8:00AM - 4:30PM)
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, which includes assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within a collaborative team setting. This role is aligned with the incumbent's qualifications, professional standards, and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, a qualified Master's degree, or a four-year Bachelor's degree program recognized by the APTA (or an equivalent foreign qualification).
- A valid and current state license or certification to practice is required, or eligibility for traineeship.
- Experience with adult and geriatric populations is preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe.
