Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing exercise programs for patients with cardiovascular disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient medical history and exercise history to develop personalized exercise plans
  • Conduct six-minute walk tests and submax exercise tolerance tests to assess patient fitness levels
  • Prescribe exercise programs based on patient needs and goals
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust exercise plans as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement exercise programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Allied Health, or Exercise Science
  • Certification as an Exercise Specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in adult fitness and/or cardiac rehabilitation programs
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
