Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to make informed treatment decisions and achieve health goals.
  • Ensure medical and patient care meets the highest standards of excellence and complies with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, initial assessments, and ongoing care to patients as needed.
  • Formulate diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care for patients.
  • Render diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, recommend therapeutic treatments, and provide patient education and referrals as necessary.
  • Monitor patient symptoms, treatment progress, and response to care.
  • Participate in case conferences and work collaboratively with non-medical Behavioral Health staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of Psychiatry Residency at an accredited program.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active, valid, and unrestricted license from the Massachusetts Medical Board to practice as a Psychiatrist in the state of MA.
  • Active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
  • Active and current BLS certificate.
