Harbor Health Services, Inc. is a mission-driven organization that provides innovative and comprehensive healthcare services to our community members. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Team at the Daniel Driscoll Neponset Health Center.

About the Role

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with overseeing psychiatric services across all of Harbor's Community Health Centers, as well as providing direct services to patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric conditions
  • Issuing prescriptions and maintenance for clients on psychotropic medication
  • Assuming a leadership role in case conferences and in-service training of staff
  • Actively participating in peer review and Utilization Review (UR)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed accredited physician residency and training in Psychiatry
  • Current Massachusetts MD License, MCSR, DEA, and Basic Life Support required
  • Board certified in Psychiatry
  • Experience in addiction medicine, integrated health care teams, and interest in Community Health populations preferred
  • Basic skills in effectively using Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records system, EPIC/OCHIN preferred
