Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist I to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our Supply Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Receive, process, and store incoming stock, pull orders from inventory, and deliver goods to designated areas.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile variances, and maintain accurate records of warehouse stock supplies.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Assist with receiving shipments, inspecting items for damage, and making notations on proper documents.
  • Data Entry: Enter data into MIMS and CAPPS Financials computer programs to provide accurate and timely issuance and receiving of warehouse stock and non-stock items.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: General knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing, customer service, and inventory control.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to use mechanical lifting devices to move, transfer, and deliver goods.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule and Benefits

Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm.
