Operations Trainee

Position Overview

The Operations Trainee will gain valuable insights into management strategies while assisting the APU Manager and operational leaders within our Hot Mill APU (Autonomous Production Unit). This role is primarily focused on enhancing production workflows and streamlining daily operations by applying leadership methodologies to elevate work quality.

Key Responsibilities:

The Operations Trainee will engage in tasks akin to those of an operations lead, which may include:

• Organizing meetings and documenting minutes
• Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks concurrently
• Effectively communicating through visual, oral, and written formats using necessary technologies
• Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, with a foundational understanding of Excel
• Reviewing and revising standard operating procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with operators, supervisors, and management to enhance process efficiency
• Upholding a strong safety culture
• Supporting additional special projects, engagement initiatives, and other assignments as required

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or having completed a bachelor’s degree in business management or a related discipline
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook, with a strong emphasis on spreadsheet functionalities
• High standards of integrity, accuracy, reliability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
• Exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to interact with all organizational levels, visitors, and clients
• Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and information
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Minimal physical exertion is required
