Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, NursingWe are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our School of Nursing, teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in nursing. The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for mentoring students.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in nursing, including pharmacology, nursing research, and experiential learning pedagogies
- Develop and implement innovative curricula that incorporate adult learning theory and experiential pedagogies
- Engage in community service and professional development to enhance teaching and research skills
- Maintain clinical/professional experience in the field of accreditation of undergraduate and graduate-level programs
- Support efforts to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students
- Master of Science or Doctorate in nursing, cardiovascular sciences and perfusion medicine, pharmacy, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
- Peer-reviewed national/international presentations and publications preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, teaching, leadership, and time management skills
- Outstanding computer skills, including proficiency in Canvas, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching at the collegiate level
- Preference to individuals with experience providing instruction in pharmacology, nursing research, or experiential learning pedagogies
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)
