We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Lead to join our team at Toyota Boshoku America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for directing team members in assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring the execution of team leader responsibilities, and supporting the overall Toyota Production System.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and motivate team members to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring the accomplishment of company goals and targets.
- Develop and maintain standardized work procedures, ensuring the best maintenance work sequence for each piece of equipment or tooling.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot equipment issues, working with suppliers to correct problems.
- Lead and maintain the maintenance and repair operations, ensuring a reliable production platform.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience in maintenance and repair operations associated with electrical systems, electronics, fabrication, hydraulics, injection molding, mechanical drives, pneumatics, robotics, stamping, welding, assembly, and conveyor systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and track equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and correct issues with equipment suppliers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Previous experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications, such as Oracle.
- Associate's degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- Skilled Trades journeymen status or certification from trade school, technical college, or apprenticeship.
- Automotive industry experience, particularly in automotive interiors.
The Maintenance Operations Lead will work in a standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, Kevlar sleeves, hearing protection, etc. may be required in designated engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas.
