Radiology Imaging Specialist

As a Radiology Tech I at Kentucky River Medical Center, you will be responsible for obtaining patient history, explaining standard procedures, and addressing patient concerns. You will also arrange patients for radiological examinations, produce radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems, and prevent patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work under immediate supervision.
Responsibilities:

Produce radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems
Prevent patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation
Requirements:
Associates degree and completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
Experience preferred but not required
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
