Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Covenant Living. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct care to residents, assessing their health needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure high standards of nursing care.
  • Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and suggestions for problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, and conditions.
  • Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
  • One year nursing experience necessary.
  • Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
  • Understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with people.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English).
  • Genuine compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
  • Availability to work beyond normal working hours and in other related positions on a temporary basis.
