Job Summary

The Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Team Member to join our team as a Lot Porter/Valet. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience by providing exceptional service and ensuring the vehicle lot is clean and organized.

In this role, you will be responsible for moving and cleaning vehicles, delivering cars to customers, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. You will also be required to participate in required training, record hours worked accurately, and follow safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Moves and cleans vehicles to ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Delivers cars to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area, including the vehicle lot and surrounding areas
  • Participates in required training to ensure knowledge of dealership policies and procedures
  • Records hours worked accurately and in a timely manner
  • Fulfills other duties as assigned by management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous work experience in a related field, such as automotive sales or service
  • Basic computer skills to utilize the dealership's timekeeping system
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Work Environment

This role is based in Newnan, Georgia, and requires regular attendance at the dealership. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with employees from various departments and occasional contact with customers.

Compensation and Benefits

The Hendrick Automotive Group offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
