Role Summary:
We are in search of a talented and driven Business Analyst to become part of our vibrant team. In this capacity, you will engage with stakeholders to collect and document business requirements, analyze workflows and data, and facilitate communication between business and technical teams. Your duties will include prioritizing and managing requirements, performing data analysis, and pinpointing opportunities for process enhancement. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects by fostering effective communication, supervising user acceptance testing, and delivering training and support.
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience - $50,000 to $65,000
- 3-6 years of relevant experience - $65,000 to $80,000
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional customer support through our service application for inquiries related to application usage and technical issues.
- Respond to electronic communications from users.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive business relationships during all interactions.
- Create, maintain, and update support tickets with detailed information regarding issues and their resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a shared understanding and project success while identifying and addressing process improvements and risks.
- Assist in developing and preparing various documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures and reports.
- Work with stakeholders to capture business objectives and requirements.
- Organize and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and training for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in translating business needs into technical specifications, including workflow and data model documentation using Microsoft Office and other tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Must possess a Secret security clearance that is fully adjudicated.
- Education: An Associate degree or higher in business administration, technical writing, process optimization, information technology, or related fields.
- Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with ServiceNow, Git, Jira, and similar tools.
- Experience Levels: Roles classified based on experience levels and proficiency in tools and technology; 0-3 years for Junior roles and 3-6 years for Mid-level roles.
- Skills: Proficient in business analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and detail-focused with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and project leadership.
- Process & Methodology: Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and project management practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Subject Matter Expertise: Knowledge of Personnel Security and related systems such as DISS, DCII, CATS, JVS, e-QIP, JPAS, CVS, SII, and PIPS is advantageous.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in writing SQL is preferred but not mandatory.
