Adjunct Professor of Women's and Gender Studies

We are seeking qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Women's and Gender Studies at West Virginia University.
Qualifications- A master's or doctoral degree in Women's and Gender Studies, LGBTQ+ Studies, or a related discipline with an emphasis on gender and/or LGBTQ+ Studies.
- Evidence of ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate level.
We welcome scholars from multiple academic backgrounds to apply, as WGST courses are taught from multi- and inter-disciplinary frameworks.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in Women's and Gender Studies.
- Develop and implement course materials and assessments.
- Provide academic advising and support to students.
We offer a competitive salary on a per-course basis. While these positions are not benefits-eligible, individual positions may become benefits-eligible based on course load.
