Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall customer experience, serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Handle customer inquiries through various communication methods, including email and phone, with potential future engagement through chat and social media.
  • Prepare quotations and provide pricing and lead time details to both new and existing clients.
  • Input orders into systems, facilitating production planning and product shipment, which is essential for revenue generation.
  • Address escalations effectively, acting as the customer's advocate and collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing sustainable process enhancements within the department and across functions, striving for excellence.
  • Perform additional functions typical of a Customer Care organization, such as processing returns, initiating financial adjustments, logging customer feedback, generating reports, and analyzing data.
Candidate Qualifications

Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in 10-key typing at a speed of 60 words per minute.
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical details related to engineered products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Language Proficiency
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of French, Spanish, or German is advantageous.
Work Availability
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required by business demands.
Education and Experience
  • Associate degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a similar client-facing role.
  • At least 3 years of experience utilizing ERP systems.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Background in Production/Operations is beneficial.
  • Experience in both direct-to-consumer and B2B environments is advantageous.
