POSITION SUMMARY
As an Automotive Assistant Manager at Big O Tires, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the retail outlet to ensure efficiency, cost management, and profitability, collaborating closely with the Store Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the opening and closing processes of the store(s)
- Assist the Store Manager with assigned tasks
- Manage inventory levels to minimize loss and place orders as needed
- Address customer complaints in accordance with established guidelines
- Effectively utilize point-of-sale systems and software
- Review and finalize work orders and inspection documents
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Experience in the automotive industry is essential
- Work schedule includes Monday to Saturday with a rotating day off during the week
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Ability to understand safety protocols and manuals
- Strong communication skills with customers and team members
- Proficient in computer skills and relevant software
- Valid driver's license required
- Able to lift up to 75lbs independently
