Position Overview: The International Tax Manager plays a pivotal role within the finance department, reporting directly to the International Tax Senior Manager. This position necessitates extensive collaboration with various members of the Tax team and the broader finance organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Tax Calculation: Execute the US tax computations for international transactions essential for US GAAP tax provisions and federal income tax compliance, including aspects such as Foreign Tax Credit, Subpart F, Earnings & Profits, foreign tax pools, and outside basis in foreign subsidiaries.
  2. Deferred Tax Management: Monitor and reconcile deferred tax balances pertinent to international calculations incorporated in the US GAAP tax provision.
  3. Compliance Forms Preparation: Generate necessary US international tax compliance documentation required for the federal income tax return.
  4. International Tax Oversight: Aid in managing the US tax implications of international income tax positions adopted by the organization.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow Tax team members to effectively meet these responsibilities.
  6. Team Leadership: Supervise the India Tax Team, providing technical guidance, oversight, and support.
  7. Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed about current income tax legislation related to international matters and ensure its correct application in the company’s tax compliance procedures.
  8. Special Projects: Assist with various projects as needed, including tax research, analysis of income tax implications of transactions, acquisitions, divestitures, and other business initiatives.
  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different business units, the finance organization, and the global tax team at Keysight.
Qualifications:
  1. BA/BS degree in accounting; CPA and/or a Master’s in Taxation is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5-7 years of tax experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent experience within a tax department of a large multinational corporation.
  3. In-depth understanding of US international tax principles.
  4. Experience in preparing international components of a US Tax Return for a large multinational corporation.
  5. Familiarity with ASC740 (FAS109), FIN48, and accounting principles.
  6. Detail-oriented, organized thinker with strong accounting, analytical, and computer skills.
  7. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with personnel at all levels across functions and organizations.
  9. High degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
  10. Commitment to the highest standards of integrity, business controls, and practices.
  11. A collaborative team player.
