Position: Porter
Holman Motors Inc. is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Porter to support our Sales Consultants throughout the sales process. This role is essential in ensuring that our vehicles are always ready for presentation and delivery, contributing to the overall success of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain vehicles in a pristine condition for demonstrations
- Retrieve vehicles from inventory as required
- Ensure all vehicles are fueled for deliveries and demonstrations
- Clean and wash vehicles as necessary
- Transport sold vehicles to the preparation center for final touches
- Keep all vehicles showroom-ready at all times
- Manage and maintain vehicle inventory
- Deliver vehicles to clients or transport them to external locations for additional services
- Assist in conducting monthly physical inventory checks
- Participate in weekly departmental meetings as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess a valid Operator's Driver's License and be insurable, with the ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to customer service. A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit are essential attributes for success in this position.
Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with one to two years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
This position involves various physical activities, including standing, walking, and lifting. Candidates must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to see close and distant objects, as well as color and depth perception.
